T-REX is seeking a Strategic Relationship Manager to join the Strategic Sales team. The SRM is responsible for directing strategic engagements throughout their lifecycle, from pre-sale on to PoC’s and up-sell activity. The SRM will use knowledge of industry and player trends, along with market connections to identify, develop and manage strategic prospect pipelines. The SRM is ultimately responsible for maximizing AUM and revenue generated for each strategic client engagement.

What you’ll do:  

The primary goal of the SRM is to identify, develop and cultivate meaningful strategic relationships that will lead to success across enterprise engagements. Functions will include:

  • Develop and manage strategic prospect pipeline: 
    • Identify various stakeholders within client accounts to understand the needs of their businesses
    • Understand market drivers and collaborate with both the client and internal stakeholders to overcome potential impediments
    • Leverage network to identify meaningful prospect and cultivate a strategic prospect pipeline
    • Prioritize opportunities most likely to result in strategic engagements.
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships.
    • Builds and maintains strategic working relationships with key stakeholders, and ensures strong partnership across the enterprise. 
    • Scope, document and maintain the relationship grid
    • Develop and leverage critical “connector"
    • Connect, direct and encourage relationships for other roles across the organization
  • Manage the strategic engagement sales cycle from initial outreach to direct 
    • Development and implement proof of concept 
    • Craft commercial proposals and direct contract negotiations
    • Spearhead engagement plans

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably consultative and enterprises selling
  • Experience in Structured Finance,  Project Finance, or ABS markets is preferred
  • Experience working with SAAS cloud based FinTech Platforms. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex problems in simple terms
  • Creative thinker with ability to anticipate barriers to entry, paths to success, and connect the dots. 
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and drive processes across the team
